1. Your account
You're responsible for your login, your pets' information, and the content you share. You must be 13 or older to use JustAskPet.
2. Subscriptions
JustAskPet Plus is offered as a monthly ($4.99/mo) or yearly ($39.99/yr) auto-renewing subscription. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Cancel anytime from Settings → Manage subscription; you keep Plus access until the end of the current period. No refunds for partial periods.
3. Acceptable use
Don't post content that is illegal, harmful to animals, abusive, or violates someone else's rights. We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
3a. Pet-first content policy
JustAskPet is a community for pets and animals. Posts to the feed should center a pet or another animal as the main subject. Humans are welcome in photos when the pet is clearly the focus — walking your dog, cuddling your cat, vet visits, grooming, or traveling together all belong here.
Off-topic content — selfies without a pet, food and drinks, rooms, decor, landscapes, or generic lifestyle posts — may be limited, hidden, or removed. We use a soft visual check before publishing and a community report option ("Not pet-related") to keep the feed focused. Stories and AI Symptom Check photos are exempt from the pre-publish check.
4. AI Symptom Check
Just Ask offers general guidance and is not a substitute for veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns.
5. Liability
JustAskPet is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the service reliable, but we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from app use.
6. JustAskPet Business — marketplace role
JustAskPet Business is a marketplace that connects pet owners with independent service providers (such as groomers, sitters, walkers, trainers, and veterinarians). JustAskPet is not the service provider, is not a party to the service contract between an owner and a provider, and does not itself perform any pet-care service.
Each provider acts as an independent professional and is solely responsible for: the services they offer and perform, their legal compliance and any registrations required by their jurisdiction, holding any insurance and certifications appropriate for their activity, and the accuracy of the information shown on their profile. Verification badges displayed on JustAskPet are informational only and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, or assumption of liability by JustAskPet.
Owners are responsible for reviewing a provider's profile, insurance status, and terms before booking. JustAskPet does not provide insurance and does not assume provider liability unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement. Deposits and payments processed through JustAskPet are collected on behalf of the provider and are subject to the provider's own cancellation and refund policy displayed on their profile.
